Nevil Shed was at Saturday’s UTSA vs. UTEP men’s basketball game. Shed is a basketball legend in both San Antonio and El Paso.

Shed was a member of Texas Western’s “Glory Road” men’s basketball team that won the 1966 NCAA championship. Texas Western later became UTEP. He was also a part of the first men’s basketball coaching staff at UTSA in 1981.
