UTSA took the lead for good with 3:23 left in the game to beat North Texas 77-69 in a Conference USA game on Saturday at the Convocation Center. Jhivvan Jackson led UTSA with 31 points, Jacob Germany had 16 and Keaton Wallace had 14.

Jhivvan Jackson scored 26 points, but it wasn’t enough as North Texas closed out a close game down the stretch and dropped UTSA to 0-3 in conference.

Defending Conference USA champion North Texas beat UTSA 77-70 in Conference USA on Friday at the Convocation Center. UTSA and North Texas play again Saturday at 3 p.m.

Cedrick Alley Jr. made UTSA’s first two baskets of the game as the Roadrunners beat Lamar 88-66 on Tuesday.

UTSA has won three of its last four games after beating Lamar 88-66 on Tuesday at the Convocation Center. Luka Barisic led UTSA with 18 points, Keaton Wallace had 12, Eric Parrish 11 and Jacob Germany 10.

Phoenix Ford (12) made his first start of the season for UTSA on Friday night.

UTSA wanted to emphasize defense on Friday in a 91-62 victory over Sul Ross State at the Convocation Center. The Roadrunners held the Lobos to 34.9 percent shooting. Sul Ross turned the ball over 17 times.

UTSA beat UT-Permian Basin 97-71 on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 in the men's basketball season opener at the Convocation Center.

UTSA tipped off its 2020-21 men’s basketball season on Friday at the Convocation Center.

A day after UTSA had its scheduled season opener on the road cancelled, the Roadrunners opened the season at home on Friday against UT Permian Basin.

Five players made their UTSA debut including freshmen Jaja Sanni, Lachlan Bofinger and Jordan Ivy-Curry. Two new players were in the starting lineup: redshirt juniors Cedrick Alley Jr. and Eric Parrish.

UTSA’s Jhivvan Jackson broke the Roadrunners’ all-time season and career scoring records during his junior year.

UTSA’s Jhivvan Jackson was named to the Conference USA men’s basketball player all-conference first team on Monday.

The junior from Puerto Rico led the conference in scoring and finished the regular season No. 2 in the NCAA with 27.2 points per game.
